Vicki-Marie Bassing grew up in San Francisco studying with Harold and William Christensen, Roberta Meyer, Richard Gibson, and Lorna Fordyce. She was trained in the Cecchetti and RAD techniques. As a child, she performed with The Bolshoi, Kirov, New York City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet and San Francisco Opera Ballet Companies.

In addition to her ballet training, Vicki was a Northern California gymnastic champion while in middle school and skated with Holiday on Ice following her high school graduation.

Vicki has been teaching and choreographing for young dancers in the Bay Area for many years. She currently brings Creative Movement to several preschools and classical ballet training to dancers from age three through high school throughout Marin County.
