Kate Fox Marcom has been performing in the Bay Area as an actress and a dancer since she was 8 years old. She trained on a talent based full scholarship at San Francisco’s City Ballet School first under the direction of Damara Bennet and then with Galina Alexandrova and Yuri Zhukov for 10 years where she studied classical ballet, modern, flamenco and jazz. While at City Ballet she performed lead roles in the Nutcracker as well as many ballets choreographed by guest artists from around the world. At 16 she was accepted in the A.C.T. Young Company where she was also a member of the Musical Cabaret Ensemble and performed lead roles in several productions at Yerba Buena Center of the Arts. Most recently she has performed dance roles with Marin Shakespeare, The Mountain Play, as a company member with Carmen Carnes Dance Ensemble and as a guest artist for ballet choreographer Natasha Middleton in Los Angeles. Kate is passionate about sharing her love for classical ballet with all of her students and has been teaching at Happy Feet for the last five years.
